The Rethink Group, on behalf of all our subsidiary brands which are Rethink Recruitment Solutions Ltd, Rethink Professional Services Ltd recognise our obligation in the prevention of slavery and human trafficking. We will do all in our power to prevent slavery and human trafficking within our business and within the supply chains processes that we work with.
As illustrated in the Modern Slavery Act, modern slavery can take many forms. Our business takes the responsibility for supplying staff extremely seriously and are aware of the potential for being targeted by criminal organisations.
This statement is in response to the Modern Slavery Act and has been written to ensure Rethink Group and its subsidiary brands comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the Act). We pride ourselves on our reputation and our integrity and will endeavour to take all necessary actions to ensure that there is no slavery or human trafficking within our business or supply chains.
As a Group we employ over 200 individuals globally and act as specialist recruitment and managed service providers across globe in the following disciplines; IT, Digital, Healthcare, Engineering and Manufacturing. We currently have offices in the following countries:
- United Kingdom
- United Arab Emirates
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business.
The sourcing of candidates for our clients is our main supply chain. In some circumstances this may require us to involve external agencies who will support in the delivery of candidates onto our end client. During these processes we ensure that our employees and candidates remain aware that they are:
- Free to choose to work for their employer and to leave the company upon reasonable notice
- Provided with a clear contract of employment, which complies with local legislation.
- All treated in a fair and dignified manner
We ensure the identity and eligibility of the right to work in the UK of all our own employees and of each candidate that we place, before they begin an engagement or commence work with us and ensure that this information is held on file for appropriate time periods.
Our company will aim to raise awareness and understanding of the Modern Slavery Act with all of its employees through our Company Induction and annual Employment Law and Discrimination training which will include the basic principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and what employees can do to flag up potential slavery or human trafficking issues to the relevant parties within the organisation.
We will continue to review our policies and procedures to ensure our employees have access to any additional information and support that they may require with regard to human trafficking, forced labour, servitude and slavery.
This statement has been approved by the organisation’s board of directors and is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Act and constitutes Rethink Group’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ended 31st December 2016.
